Maintenance
Eddie’s calling to care for others comes from the journey of his own broken childhood home. His experience of attending nine different elementary schools gave him a passion to minister to kids with a similar, unstable home life. His childhood experiences also motivated him to provide a loving and safe home for his own two daughters after marrying his high school sweetheart, Tamela, in 1975.
Together, they restored a 100 year old home and sold it to build and establish a 15 acre farm—complete with their dream farmhouse, barn, and photographer’s garden. Years of experience in building construction—which he says is a gift from God—has equipped Eddie to tackle most maintenance jobs.
Eddie is not only our maintenance go-to-guy, he also serves as a leader in our Str8-Up Junior High School department.
